Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (II Cor. 13:14; Rom. 1:7; Heb. 1:8; Acts 5:3,4)
We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired in its original writings, the sole authoritative Word of God, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. (II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:21)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and imminent return. (John 1:18; Titus 2:13; I John 5:20)
We believe in the universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the fall renders mankind subject to God’s wrath and condemnation, and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, by God’s grace, not by works. (Gen. 3; Rom. 5:12; 10:13; Titus 3:5; John 3:5; Acts 4:10-12)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (I Cor. 6:19; Gal. 5:22, 23; Rom. 8:14)
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation. (John 5:28, 29; I Thes. 4: 14-17)
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph. 4:25; Rom. 12:5; I Cor. 10:17; Gal. 3:28)
