General Requirements

ACA seeks individuals with:

At least a Bachelor's Degree.
Preferably with a Teaching License.
A growing personal relationship with Christ.
A team player.

Continuing Education

If you are interested in receiving your masters in Education there is a program offered through the University of Alabama. For full-time teachers, ACA will pay 50% of tuition for courses taken. Teachers pay in advance for their classes. They are reimbursed 50% at the end of their first two-year contract. If teachers sign for an additional two years, the school will reimburse the remaining 50% of courses taken. This only applies to courses taken through the University of Alabama. Any required professional development courses will be paid by ACA.
